Mr. Fogel has an extensive experience in the investment banking and corporate banking industry. Mr. Fogel worked for Citigroup in London and New York where he held a variety of senior positions in the areas of corporate finance, capital markets, and investment advisory. Mr. Fogel was a Managing Director of Citicorp Securities Inc. In 1998 Mr. Fogel led a U.S. investor group to acquire the Ampa Group in Israel. Ampa is a diversified group involved in Real Estate, Packaging, Consumer Products and Financial Services. After completing the acquisition of Ampa, Mr. Fogel served as Chairman of Ampa Investments and Managing Partner of the Ampa Group. In 2000 Mr. Fogel acquired the Industrial Development Investment Company ("IDIC") and established Ampa Capital and grew the company into the largest non bank finance company in Israel specializing in asset backed financing. In 2005 Mr. Fogel returned to the U.S. to take up the position of CEO of U.S. Energy Systems Inc. ("USEY"). USEY is a "clean and green" independent energy company. Mr. Fogel served as Chairman of the Board, President and CEO of USEY until June 2007.
Mr. Fogel holds a BA in Economics and a MBA from the Hebrew University. He also attended the Advanced Management program in the Harvard Business School specializing in Finance. Mr. Fogel served in the Israeli army and was discharged as a Captain in the Artillery Corps.
Stan Furst has forty years of experience in the financial services and mortgage lending industry. He started his career in 1969, managing all processing, servicing and disposition of mortgage loans made by New Jersey Mortgage and Investment Corp. ("NJMIC"). As President and CEO of NJMIC from 1978-1997, he built the company into one of the leading mortgage and equipment leasing institutions (Federal Leasing Corp.) in the United States. NJMIC and Federal Leasing Corp. were among the first companies in their respective fields to securitize products. In 1997 he sold his 50% interest in NJMIC to a public company. He then performed management services for the acquirer from 1997 to 2000. After such time he became a respected industry consultant to the financial services community and has been an advisor to several companies in this field. In 2006 he formed ComNet Financial Corp., a nationwide small balance commercial mortgage company.
Mr. Furst received his BBA from the University of Miami and attended the Ohio State University School of Law.
Mr. Greene is an experienced investment banker specializing in structured finance, project finance and corporate finance. In 1997 he joined Mr. Fogel in forming Dovertower Capital, a small investment banking boutique specializing in international and domestic structured corporate finance. In 1998 Dovertower Capital led the first leveraged buyout transaction in Israel, leading to the acquisition of the Ampa Group in Israel. In 2000 Mr. Greene helped form Marathon Capital - a boutique investment bank specializing in the green energy sector and became a Managing Director of Marathon and ran their New York office.
In 2005 Mr. Green joined Mr. Fogel in USEY as the Executive Vice President of the company. Later on Mr. Greene was also appointed as CEO and chief restructuring officer of U.S. Energy Biogas, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of USEY. During his tenure with USEY Mr. Greene led a company transforming acquisition of natural gas properties in the UK.
Mr. Greene has a BA in Economics from Oberlin College and has attended New York University's Wagner School of Public Administration.
Mr. Aquilone joined BenAlon Capital Advisors, LP in 2008 and serves as Managing Director and Portfolio Manager of BAC Distressed Mortgage Partners, LP Mr. Aquilone has over 12 years experience and has purchased in excess of 100 Billion in Performing and Non-Performing whole loans. Mr. Aquilone began his career in 1993 at Franklin Credit Management Corp. as an Asset Manager where he was involved in all aspects of loan workouts, bankruptcy, foreclosure and REO processes from point of acquisition to liquidation. In addition, he was responsible for the due diligence on all potential loan acquisitions. In 1996, Mr. Aquilone joined Bankers Trust Corp. where he completed their Front Line Management Training Program and was an AVP in the Corporate Trust Proof and Control Division where he managed a staff of 15. In 1998, Mr. Aquilone joined GRP Financial Services (a Sallie Mae Company), as VP of Acquisitions. Mr. Aquilone was responsible for the acquisition of Non-Performing Whole Loans and instrumental in building their acquisition platform. In 2003, Mr. Aquilone joined UBS Investment Bank as the Director of Mortgage Sales where he was responsible for co-building the Distressed Residential Mortgage Platform, the Alt A Conduit Flow Platform and increasing the Sub-prime Bulk Acquisitions.
Mr. Aquilone holds a BS in Accounting from William Paterson University, an MS in Accounting from St. Peter’s College and an MBA in Business Management from St. Peter’s College. In addition, Mr. Aquilone has held Series 7 & 63 licenses.
Henry Schneider has over 20 years of investment banking and principal investing experience. As an advisor, principal and corporate officer he has structured and managed over 20 companies, both public and private and has raised more than $400 million in equity and debt financings. From 1986 to 1988, Mr. Schneider was an associate at Drexel Burnham Lambert specializing in Taxable Institutional Fixed Income Products and Portfolio Strategies. From 1989 to 1994, Mr. Schneider was an associate with S&S Investments and Wood Gundy, specializing in mergers, acquisitions and corporate restructuring. From 1994 to 1996 Mr. Schneider was a principal of Global Capital Resources, Inc., a private merchant bank investing in a wide variety of businesses. Over the last 10 years, Mr. Schneider has invested in a wide variety of industries and has sat on the board of directors of numerous companies.
Mr. Schneider has a BA in from Tufts University and an MBA from Boston University School of Management.
